Their house that they are renting. It is about a 10 minute walk from Puerto Montt´s Central business and shopping area, and a 5 minute walk from the sea.
On our second day here we went for a hike to the top of yet another hill where a Christian cross looked over the city and protected it. Its not as big as San Cristobal in Santiago, but its definitely huge! At night it is lit up and you can see out from anywhere in the city. To get there we took a teeny motor boat across part of the ocean (3 mins tops?). Here is a picture we snapped when we got to shore:
